Nearest airports:

Gibraltar (20 minutes drive), Malaga (1 hr drive), Jerez (1.5hrs)

Via Gibraltar - Flights from Heathrow (Iberia) Gatwick (BA) or Luton (Monarch) land at Gibraltar which is an easy 20 min drive on the motorway to Sotogrande marina. For convenience, take a 5 minute walk through the border control onto the Spanish side (La Linea) with your luggage and hire a car there. This will save queuing in the car to cross over into Spain.

Via Malaga - Many airlines (BA, Monarch, EasyJet, Ryanair, BMIbaby etc) fly into Malaga and often have cheap flight offers. It is 1 hour drive to Sotogrande on the motorway.

 Other options include flying into Jerez (Ryanair or BA) which is 1.5 hrs drive or into Seville (BA) also 1.5 hrs.
