Nearest airports:

Gibraltar Airport is approximately 20 minutes drive away. Malaga Airport is approximately a 1 hour drive and Jerez Airport is approximately 1.5 hours drive.

Via Gibraltar – Flights are from Heathrow (BA), from Gatwick (EasyJet/Monarch) or Luton (Monarch). Once landed, Gibraltar is an easy 20 minute drive on the uncrowded motorway to Sotogrande marina. For convenience, take a 5 minute walk through the Border Control onto the Spanish side (La Linea) with your luggage and hire a car there. This will save queuing in the car to cross over into Spain.

Via Malaga – Many airlines (BA, Monarch, EasyJet, Ryanair, BMIbaby etc) fly into Malaga and often have cheap flight offers. Malaga is a popular option as there are many flights each day and hiring a car in the airport is very simple and efficient. The drive to Sotogrande on the motorway is easy and takes around 50 minutes .

Other options include flying into Jerez (Ryanair or BA) which is 1.5 hrs drive or into Seville (BA) around 2 hrs.

Car Hire – There are several options for car hire – check Europcar, Crown, Avis and Hertz for deals.
